The Year 6, SATs are statutory assessments which assess your child’s progress and attainment from across Key Stage 2. They are not tested solely on Year 6 curriculum objectives, with the SATs including learning from Years 3 to 6. As a result, my main role as the Year 6 teacher is to consolidate previous years learning, make links across content and then progress this content further, so your child can access all the SATs assessments.
