Upwood Primary Academy- School Performance Data

During the academic year 2021 - 2022, Upwood Primary Academy staff were unable to assess Year 6 on the following swimming criteria, due to adverse weather conditions, resulting in limited use of our outdoor pool:

We have been unable to assess the percentage of pupils within our school’s Year 6 cohort that can do each of the following:

• • Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25m
  • Use a range of stroked effectively
  • Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
