Upwood Primary Academy opened on the 1st August 2018, replacing Upwood Primary School.

Upwood Primary Academy is a proud primary academy in the village of Upwood, Cambridgshire, close to Huntingdon. The academy is situated on vibrant grounds and is surrounded by the beautiful Cambridgeshire countryside.  Upwood Primary Academy has excellent facilities, including a large field and outdoor area, outside swimming pool, large hall and spaciour, bright classrooms.

We are part of the Thomas Deacon Education Trust (TDET). This is a local group of schools working together to improve the education, opportunities and life chances of children in Peterborough and the surrounding area.

We work closely with other schools and organisations to ensure that our pupils have the best education and experiences. You can find more information about learning at Upwood and the curriculum we offer in the 'Curriculum' tab at the top of the page.

We welcome visits and look forward to meeting you.
